Founded in July 1956 as Ejiri Radiator in Nagoya, Japan (Aichi Prefecture), Koyorad started as a radiator repair shop. By 1968, the company expanded to include a dedicated radiator and oil cooler factory in Nagoya, separating production from repair operations. In 1970, Ejiri Radiator evolved into Koyo Radiator Manufacturing and began opening branches throughout Japan. This marked the start of its transformation into a global leader in the aftermarket radiator industry as Koyorad.

    The Ejiri Radiator Repair Company was founded in Nagoya, Aichi, Japan, in July 1956.

  • 1970

    Manufacturing Launch

    In 1970, the company began manufacturing radiators after separating its production and repair facilities, leading to advancements in radiators and oil coolers.

  • 1994

    Indonesia Division Established

    PT. KOYO JAYA Indonesia (KJI) established

  • 2000

    U.S. Division Established

    In April 2000, KOYORAD Cooling Systems, Inc. was founded in California to serve as a hub for national expansion.

  • 2004

    KOYO International operations Pte Ltd

    KOYORAD opened up its second foreign sales office in Singapore.

  • 2005

    KOYO HEAT EXCHANGE (Suzhou) Co., Ltd (KHE)

    The second Foreign factory also established in Suzhou China.

  • 2006

    KOYO RADIATOR Company. LTD

    Maked a milestone in the history of KOYORAD as celebration of 50 YEARS presence in the industry in Japan. The company name is renewed as KOYO RADIATOR Company. LTD. KOYO COOLING SYSTEM epanded it's operations by leaps and bounds by moving into a larger facility located in Irvine, California.

    Perris warehouse

    KCS warehouse opened in Perris, California.

  • 2014

    KOYORAD Myanmar Corporation Co., LTD (KMC)

    The third foreign factory established in Myanmar.

  • 2016

    KOYORAD COOLING SYSTEMS, INC.

    The company name is renewed as KOYORAD COOLING SYSTEMS, INC.
